We
are pleased to announce that the Consulate is now set to issue
the recently introduced Nigerian Passport using the machine
readable passport (MRP) booklet. As the new system is
completely computerized, applicants are required to complete
new forms to enable us process their applications.
In
this regard, all applicants whose forms are already submitted
based on the old system and prospective applicants are hereby
required to take note of the following requirements for a
new passport.
Personal
interview of each applicant;
- Evidence
of residence (preferably copies of Phone or Electrical
bills)
- A
passport photograph of the applicant to be taken by the
Immigration Section here in New York (Consulate General
of Nigeria).
- Completion
of a computerized application form.

us serve you better.
